Starting, but never finishing.

It's been a while, and it's also been a recurring theme in my life recently. It seems I am very good at starting things, but then I lose interest in them after a short while. Maybe my mind is just like that: starting new things, but never finishing them.

I do want to do better here and keep writing what's on my mind. However, maybe not make it a daily thing, or try to convince myself it should be. Putting pressure on myself for things that make no sense to pressure myself for is senseless, if you think about it.

This isn't only something I am dealing with in writing, but also in a lot of other aspects of life. I pick up hobbies it seems like every single week, but then I never see them through. I lose interest almost just as fast as I gain it. Learning to play guitar, a new language, some AI coding stuff, or an idea that pops in my head. Been there, done that, a million times.

I must not be the only one dealing with this, though; I guess in today’s day and age, it’s also very easy to get constantly distracted by something new and shiny. Then, after a couple of days, something new and shiny pops up again, and the cycle continues.
